Banana Custard Cake
Banana Cake Recipe:
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 4 Egg Whites
- 85 gr Sugar ( 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 115 gr Ripe Banana pulsed in the food processor ( 1 Banana )
- 100 gr Milk ( 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 120 gr All Purpose Flour ( 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp good Quality Vanilla
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice ( or 1/4 tsp cream of tartar) Add it to the egg whites before adding the sugar.
Custard Cream:
- 330 gr Whole Milk ( 1 1/3 cup )
- 2 medium Eggs
- 90 gr Sugar ( 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp) (the sweetnnes is ok, but for me, I need to decrease the sugar to 80 or 70 gram)
- 2 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
